Again the dawn finds me at the end of the line.
I'm back in London or its tinted reflection.
Just one more commuting lemming
in a crumpled suit waiting for the drop.
I cling to Blackfriars Bridge and watch as others
take their final plunge in the grimy Thames below.
Hanging on until slowly, surely, through the morning fog
like a huge dark barge the decision emerges
To take my life
To take my life back
To take my life back home.
